Enterprise Car Club and the London ULEZ Expansion

What is the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) expansion?

The ULEZ is an area which currently covers inner London. If your vehicle doesn’t meet the ULEZ emission standards, there is a daily charge of £12.50 for driving in the ULEZ area. This charge is in addition to the £15 London Congestion Charge. This is to encourage people to travel via less air polluting transport. You can check to see if your vehicle meets the ULEZ standards by visiting the TfL website.

What is the ULEZ expansion?

On August 29th, 2023 the current ULEZ will expand to cover all London boroughs.

Enterprise Car Club & The London ULEZ

All our vehicles are ULEZ compliant, and those located within any Congestion Zone have the associated costs included in the rental fees. So you can have complete peace of mind when travelling.

When your journey cannot be made on foot or bike, using an ULEZ compliant car club car is a great option. In comparison to using a private vehicle, they help improve local air quality by producing 72% lower emissions (PM2.5)*, reduce localised congestion (each car club car displaces 24 private cars*) and save members’ money. What’s more, car clubs don’t just free up road capacity for active travel, car club members themselves tend to use active travel modes more, further boosting the benefits felt by individuals, the wider community and the environment.

We are offering support to those living in the expanded ULEZ by providing two membership offers in partnership with TfL. Click below to find out more.
