Where can I charge the EV?

The charge card is compatible with the dedicated charge post in the EV parking bay. It will also be compatible with any other charge posts on the same network. If a charge post compatible with the charge card is not available, simply pay, and claim back the cost via our mobile app.

Please note: Some charging points have a maximum stay period and may charge you fees for exceeding this.

Find your closest chargepoints using ZapmapEcotricityCharge Your CarGoogle Maps or Charge Place Scotland.

What cable can I use?

Many charge points will have a tethered (attached) cable. Make sure that this cable is type 2 (see reference image) as these are compatible with our EVs.

Some charge points may not have a tethered (attached) cable. For this reason, all of our EV’s are equipped with a cable which can be plugged into the charge point. It is important to always take this cable with you once you have taken the vehicle off charge as the cable belongs to the car and not the charging point.

How long do EVs take to charge?

Fast charger  (22kW/h) – 0-100% in 3 hours

Standard charger (7kW/h) – 0-100% in 6 hours

*Please note that some EVs are not compatible with fast chargers.
